At the Airport

Face mask

Wearing a face mask on board of Brussels flights is mandatory from the age of 6 years.

Passengers must wear a face mask which entirely covers mouth and nose. Face shields and FFP2 masks with a valve are not permitted on board, as they allow the air to escape to the side and do not provide comparable protection.

Airport guidance

In order to reduce physical contact, the airlines suggests guests check in online and get their boarding passes before coming to the airport. You can check in online as from 24 hours prior to departure

Only electronic payments will be possible. Check in online and to use the self-scanning devices as much as possible.

Brussels Airport has enhanced measures including
plexiglass protection at the different counters
vending machines for face masks
floor stickers & courtesy lines for social distancing
self-scanning devices enabling touchless pass-through
hand sanitizers throughout the airport
additional cleaning and disinfection of touchpoints and toilets

Passengers departing from and arriving at Brussels Airport will be subject to a temperature screening

In other airports, the lounges will gradually open and/or operate with limited availability, in line with the regulations of the respective countries.

Onboard the flight

Face mask

Wearing a face mask on board of Brussels flights is mandatory from the age of 6 years.

For health reasons, an exemption from the mask requirement is only accepted when providing a negative Covid-19 PCR test (not older than 48 hours before departure) and a current medical certificate via the Brussels Airlines form.

For your well-being and those seated near you, a face covering is required during flight but you can remove it to eat or drink.

Sanitiser

Disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizing service for all guests.

Service onboard

Non-essential items such as paper, magazines and hot towels are no longer available.

On our European flights, the buy-on-board service has been temporarily adapted. Purchases on board are only possible with credit cards.
